Cristina Cojocaru (b. 1988) is a Romanian art historian, working as researcher at the “G. Oprescu ” Institute of Art History in Bucharest, Department of Medieval Art and Architecture, where she has been studying, since 2015, focusing on the Romanian art from the period of transition between medieval and modern times. She earned a B.A. (2011) and an M.A. (2013) from the National University of Arts Bucharest, Faculty of Art History and Theory, and holds a PhD (2020) from the same academic institution, where she also collaborates as an associate assistant (since 2015). Cristina Cojocaru is also interested in medieval, modern, and contemporary art and her interests have been materialized in many scientific papers, studies, and articles, as well as in documenting or curating exhibitions. For the RICONTRANS Project, Cristina works as research assistant under Ana Dumitran’s supervision.
