Dr. Ivana Ženarju Rajović is a senior research associate at the Institute for Serbian Culture in Priština based in Leposavić, Serbia. She is an art historian who has completed her PhD at the Faculty of Philosophy, Belgrade, in 2014. Two years later, she published her book upon doctoral research on church art and the religious revival of the 19th century in the territory of the Diocese of Raška and Prizren. She has published many articles and book chapters on the visual culture of the Balkans, with a focus on sacral art in the Ottoman era. Her field of expertise is ecclesiastical art in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, where she has conducted field research for years.
